Recognizing the need for on-site training, Safe Schools South Florida sends trainers to individual schools and/or to school district divisions and departments to present workshops for faculty and staff. These workshops range from 90 minutes to 4 hours and offer a high-level overview of the information contained in the Safe Schools & Sexual Minorities Issues 101. Particular issues are highlighted based on input from department heads or schools' counselors and administrators. Whenever possible, Safe Schools South Florida attempts to provide student/adult panels for personal insights for trainees.
