Safe Schools South Florida is also able to assist in individual situations where teachers or counselors or students would like help dealing with a specific issue relative to safe schools and sexual minorities. We can consult with individuals and make suggestions/recommendations including conducting workshops for staff or seeking counseling for individuals.

In Miami-Dade, Safe Schools South Florida is affiliated with The Children's Trust-funded Alliance for GLBTQ Youth which has a wealth of resources to assist with particular issues (see link). Safe Schools South Florida also works closely with Broward-based SunServe Social Services and other LGBTQ resources that can be called on for assistance.
